Cultural Showcase at GOONJ On the third day of GOONJ, JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad, hosts the Annual Cultural Meet, a vibrant celebration of talent. Students manage diverse events, showcasing their organizational skills, while renowned national artists captivate the audience with a spectacular musical festival. This event is a favorite among guests, students, faculty, and staff, creating an unforgettable experience. The meet highlights creativity and cultural diversity, adding a unique charm to the fest.
GOONJ - Sports Meet
Celebrating Sportsmanship at GOONJ The Annual Sports Meet at JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad, is a cornerstone of the institution’s legacy since its inception. Initiated in 2013 with the first Inter-College Sports Meet, this tradition fosters enthusiasm and sportsmanship every year. The event begins with a ceremonial flag hoisting, an oath by the proctor, and the official opening declaration by the chief guest. It celebrates teamwork and resilience, culminating in a grand Valedictory and Prize Distribution Function.
Extra Curricular Activities
We believe in the holistic and complete learning of a student that includes and involves not just academics but co-curricular activities too. Our campus provides in-house opportunities for students to develop healthy lifestyles by exercising through different methods and games and through interactive indoor games the team spirit and general solidarity between students is enhanced. We even organise discussions and debates to help students express their opinions in a healthy and yet competitive manner.
Induction Program
The purpose of an Induction Program is to prepare the students for their course of study and ensure a smooth transition into their college life. JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad organises a two weeks Induction Program for the incoming batch each year to motivate and welcome the students, so that they can enthusiastically look forward to this big and yet scary change in their lives with positivity. It is also to make them enter into their professional lives with confidence. The program includes basic english, maths, physics and computer sessions, Yoga and Zumba classes, Human Values and PDP sessions, Sports and Fun activities and Industrial Visit to a Nearby Industry.
- To enable students to familiarise themselves with the college environment.
- To enable students to develop a sense of identity within the college community.
- To provide a comprehensive explanation of the college’s health and safety requirements in case of emergencies, including evacuation procedure.
- To develop an awareness and understanding of the rights and responsibilities of both the staff and the students.
- To give and receive clear information about the various methods of learning and assessment procedures.
Freshers Party
Fresher party means the welcome party for newcomers in the college by their immediate seniors. This party is also known as interaction day between junior and senior to get familiarised with each other and built a healthy friendship. Fresher party is a very old ritual in colleges that occurs after the seniors try to act superior initially with the fresher’s but then hold this party for their juniors, to show their love and support for the coming years.
Farewell Party
College Farewell parties are always an exciting affair and bring alive a lot of excitement and give many happy memories. Pre-final year students of all branches of JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad organise a Farewell Party to bid adieu to the outgoing students of each year.
The function starts by welcoming the final year students of all branches with Tilak ceremony and present roses as a token of love and forward blessings. The girl students are adorned in sarees, the boys complement them in formals. The event comprises of several dance and singing performances and to make the event more entertaining and engaging, a game of tongue twister is also played. The seniors share their experiences during their stay at JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad. The main attraction of the event has become the fashion show put up by the juniors that also gives them an opportunity to showcase their talent on the ramp. In which after three rounds, the judges declare the names of winners. The Honorable Management congratulates the winners and presents mementos and title sashes to the winners.
Finally, the event closes with presenting a gift and titles to each student of the outgoing batch as a token of love and blessings and wishing them bright careers and a happy life ahead. It is followed by a vote of thanks and having snacks and drinks together.
Convocation
The biggest function for any college is its Convocation Ceremony and the highest honors for any student or academician is to receive his/her degree in a grand ceremony.
JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad prides itself on its broad based engagement of students in its various activities. The Convocation at JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad marks the culmination of student’s engagement with the college and serves as the starting point for their future journey ahead outside of studies and college life. The occasion celebrates the achievements of each student and recognizes the central goal of the college, namely student engagement, enlightenment and excellence. The event mirrors the college’s culture of caring for and inspiring its members to look forward with confidence and positivist. JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad through its students and through the Convocation serve to portray this feeling of oneness.

Holi celebrations are held each year wherein students and staff participate together in this colourful event. While we believe in celebrating naturally with flowers and dry colours, but there is enough excitement with the availability of chaat, thandai, dhol, music, dance and fun.

Diwali Milan
Diwali is celebrated at JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad to appreciate good over evil and various ways to celebrate the festival are done. A fete (mela) is organised where students setup stalls for fun games, food and Diwali gift items. Also various competitions such as candle making, rangoli making, diva decoration, etc. are held.
Teachers Day
Teachers are our gurus for life, mentors that guide us and help us find ourselves. Hence we celebrate this day with much gusto and aplomb, with a cultural programme conceptualised and presented by students that includes dancing, singing and poetry. This day marks the students thanking their teachers for being a parent like figure to them, by presenting them with flowers and small gifts. They also perform skits and drama based performance on any relevant classroom based theme.
For the teachers there are games organised to have fun outside of the classrooms for once, ranging from pass the parcel to sort the rice.
Engineers Day
Engineers day at an Engineering college! We celebrate this day with various seminars and workshops that are conducted for student’s benefit. Also various competitions are organised by each technical department to aid students in applying their knowledge outside of classrooms. Debates are held to help students think outside the box.
Yoga and Zumba
We believe that health is wealth, and the more natural the better, so what better an exercise than our age-old legacy of yoga. We at JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad hold a yoga session each year in the morning on International Yoga Day, beginning with breathing exercises, stretching and then asanas. The yoga session is followed by a healthy and nutritious breakfast of fresh fruits, sprouts and fresh fruit juices. This encourages students to take up a healthy lifestyle for their own well being.
Christmas Celebrations
We believe that every religion is equal to each other; hence we celebrate all the festivals that are interreligious and those that bring people together to celebrate happiness and life. Various fun competitions are held that includes card making and tree decoration.
New Year Celebrations
New year brings new hope, joy and opportunities for a fresh start. Hence we believe in ringing in the New Year with excitement and celebrations. Various competitions are organised such as salad decoration, poster making, etc. to celebrate and enjoy new beginnings with fun and company.
The BNAT is not complacent on its success but continually ameliorating and carrying forward this pious gigantic mission. BNAT shall leave no stone unturned to make this philanthropic and most exhilarating task in breadth and width of the whole country reaching every nook and corner covering more and more untapped populace to create awareness and the make available the opportunities to those who are hard to come across them.
BNAT refers to and stands for ‘BHAGWATI NATIONAL APTITUDE TEST’ which aims at sieving and pureeing the potential strata from amongst the high school and intermediate pass outs who are found capable of pursuing their technical and professional education in the field of Science, Commerce, Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science etc.) besides, undergoing a selection process and finally selected, the students are groomed, motivated, trained and maneuvered with enhancing their dexterity and skill to withstand the rigors of the technical education.
BNAT has been designed, formulated and textured by “JMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, GHAZIABAD”, situated at Masuri Canal, Hapur Road, Ghaziabad. The Institute is established at outskirts of Industrial city of Ghaziabad on National Highway 24, at a meager distance of 30 kms from Delhi well connected by Moradabad- Lucknow bound long route buses besides local transport.
BNAT is conducted at select centers in the months of October to January every year with particular emphasis on down trodden, depressed, neglected and hard to reach interiors such as UP, Bihar, Assam, J&K etc., as a preparation for next session post students intermediate results. This process results, on one hand, into an introspection giving impetus to the students to improve and prepare themselves to make through the competition in the times to come to follow the suit with all vigor and enthusiasm and on the other hand select the potential candidates who would come out to be successful professionals distinct from the crowd thus raising the standard of education in this one of the most important field of engineering and management.
All the participants are given certificates and the others cracking the ice get rewards and prizes along with certificates to commemorate their path of success.

हमारे देश को आजाद हुए 70 साल हो चुके है लेकिन हमारे देश की बेटियाँ आज भी आजाद नहीं है। माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी ने बेटियो की रक्षा व शिक्षा के लिए एक अभियान चलाया “बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ” वर्षो से देखा जा रहा है कि हमारे देश मे बेटियो को पेदा होने से पहले ही मार दिया जाता है भूर्ण हत्या कर दी जाती है माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी ने देखा हमारे इतने वर्षो से प्रयास करने के बाद भी लोगो मे जागरुकता का अभाव है हमारे देश मे सबसे बड़ी समस्या है बढ़ती जनसंख्या व बढ़ती बेरोज-गारी व शिक्षा का अभाव। इन सभी समस्याओ का सामना समाज के हर वर्ग को करना पड़ता है। लेकिन कभी किसी ने इस बात पर गोर नहीं किया कि आखिर इन समस्याओ की कड़ी किस से जुड़ी है। जब इस वजह को ढूंढा गया तो वजह सामने निकल कर आयी “शिक्षा” फिर जब इन समस्याओ का हल ढूंढा गया तो उस की कड़ी बेटियो की शिक्षा से जुड़ी हुयी है माना गया अगर बेटिया पढ़ी लिखी होंगी तो वो दो कुल को अपनी शिक्षा की किरणों से रोशन करेगी। जन्म के बाद बेटिया अपने पिता के घर को रोशन करेगी व शादी के बाद बेटिया अपने पति के कुल को व आने वाली पीढ़ियो को अपनी शिक्षा रूपी रोशनी से प्रकाशित करेगी।
जब बेटिया पढ़ेंगी तो वो आने वाली पीड़ी को पढ़ा लिखा बनाएगी ऊच नीच जात-पात व बेटा – बेटी मे भेद भाव खत्म करेगी।जब समाज मे सब पढ़ेगे तो जनसंख्या कम होगी बेरोजगारी कम होगी । भारत सरकार ने इसलिए “बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ” अभियान चलाया। लेकिन सरकार के प्रयास से ये अभियान सफल हो पायेगा। इसको सफल बनाने के लिए समाज के हर नागरिक को प्रयास करना होगा। सरकार के इस शिक्षा रूपी महायज्ञ मे एक आहिति भगवती इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नालजी अँड साइन्स ने भी दी तथा सरकार के इस अभियान को सफल बनाने के लिए एक विशेष कदम उठाया। सबसे पहले भगवती इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नालजी अँड साइन्स ने ये सोचा की ये समस्या सबसे ज्यादा किस क्षेत्र मे पायी जाती है भगवती इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नालजी अँड साइन्स ने पाया ये समस्या सबसे ज्यादा ग्रामीण क्षेत्र मे पायी जाती है तो JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad ने गाव के हर स्कूल मे जाकर छात्राओ को शिक्षा के लिए प्रोत्सहित किया ओर उच्च शिक्षा प्राप्त करने हेतु बालिकाओ के लिये बालिका छात्रवृति प्रतियोगिता का भी आयोजन किया जिसके तहत पाठ्यक्रम मे छात्रवृति प्रदान की जायेगी इतना ही नहीं JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad की टीम ने गाव-गाव मे जा कर चोपाल कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया जिस मे घरेलू महिलाओ को शिक्षा का महत्व बताया जिससे वे अपनी बेटियो को शिक्षित करे तथा चोपल कार्यक्रम मे भी छात्राओ को बालिका प्रोत्साहन छात्रवृति प्रतियोगिता मे शामिल होने का मोका दिया।
इस प्रतियोगिता के अंतर्गत JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad अब तक ……………. छात्राओ को इस का हिस्सा बना चुका है तथा ……………छात्राओ को छात्रवृति प्रदान की जा चुकी है।
आगे भी JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad बेटियो को शिक्षित रखने के लिए ये अभियान जारी रखेगा….
प्राचीन काल से ही मानव ओर प्राकृति का घनिष्ठ सम्बंध रहा है। भोजन वस्त्र आवास की समस्याओ का समाधान भी इन्ही से हुआ। व्रक्षों से भोजन के रूप मे फल व्रक्षों की छाल व पत्तियों से प्राचीन काल मे मानव ने अपने शरीर को ढका इनकी लकडियो व पत्तियों से अपने घर की छत बनायी व कागज की पूर्ति की।
प्राकृति का सबसे अच्छा उपहार वन है। वनो स हमे सजीव निर्जीव दोनों ही प्रकार की चीज़ों की कल्पना करना ही बड़ा मुश्किल है । जनम स लेकर म्रत्यु तक वनो की लकड़िया ही काम आती है। पेड़ पौधो से हमे अनाज जड़ी बूटी फल फूल तिलहन आदि प्राप्त हुए। पेड़ पौधो से हमे शुद्ध वायु प्राप्त होती है व परीयवरण को संतुलित बनाये रखने मे सहायक होते है ।सरकार न भी वनो की रक्षा क लिए कड़े कदम उढ़ाये। स्वतन्त्रता प्राप्ति के बाद वन महोत्सव कार्यक्रम चलाया गया। पेड़ पौधो को काटना कानूनन अपराध है । सरकार द्वारा कई राज्यो मे राष्ट्रिए ऊथान भी स्थापित किए गए पर हर कोशिश सरकार की नाकाम सी होती दिखाई पड़ी क्योकि कोई भी इसपर ज्यादा ध्यान नही दे पा रहा था फिर सरकार न एक ऐसा अभियान चलाया जिसने सबको प्रेरित किया जिस का नाम हरित भारत रखा गया जिस अभियान के अंर्तगत हर वर्ग को जोड़ा गया व व्रक्षों के महत्वों को समझाया हमारे संस्थान क चेरमेन श्री राकेश सिंघल जी को भी व्रक्षों से बड़ा लगाव है। जिस क कारण हमारी संस्था मे चारों तरफ हरियाली है ।बहुत सारे व्रक्षों से प्रकृति की जलवायु मे एक योगदान दिया। सरकार द्वारा चलाये गए अभियान “हरित भारत” मे योगदान दिया इन्होने अपनी संस्था की टीम को स्कूलो व कॉलेजो मे भेज कर व्रक्षारोपण कराया व वहा के बच्चों को व्रक्षारोपण के लिए प्ररित किया व ये भी समझाया की अपने हर एक जनम दिवस पर एक व्रक्ष लगाया व अपने आस पास के लोगो को भी व्रक्षारोपण के लिए प्ररित करो जिस से हमे व हमारी आने वाली पीढ़ी को स्वच्छ जलवायु व अन्य संसाधन प्राप्त हो सके।
