The diploma program at JMS Institute of Technology offers a comprehensive scientific and technical foundation in the field of mechanical engineering. The program also provides specialization through technical electives in areas such as automatic controls, electro-mechanical systems, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, applied mechanics, thermodynamics, cryogenics, mechanical design, robotics, and automation.
In the initial years of the program, students cover subjects like physics, mathematics, chemistry, statics and graphics, and computing materials. As they progress into the second and final years, the curriculum focuses on topics such as mechanics of solids and fluids, heat transfer manufacturing, thermodynamics, instrumentation, design and control, experimentation, and system synthesis.
At JMS Institute of Technology, we boast state-of-the-art laboratories including dynamics, metallurgy, heat transfer, metrology, and fuels. Additionally, modern computing facilities are available for students in CAD and computer-integrated manufacturing laboratories. Students are actively encouraged to undertake projects and are exposed to practical applications that reinforce the theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom.

    For admission to first year of Polytechnic, candidate must have passed Highschool examination of U.P. Board or from any other recognized Board; securing minimum 35% marks. The candidate is essentially required to pass without any grace marks (as per respective Board/ University) in each subject.

    Candidate who have passed intermediate examination from any recognized Board or 10th + ITI (2 years) in relevant branch; securing minimum 35% marks are eligible for admission to Second year in any branch of Engineering Diploma.
