The placement cell of the Institute carries out various functions and activities that build the growing relationship between academia and Industry. Placement counselors provide information relating to new business start up and freelance working. The placement counselors are experienced and conduct a range of self-development workshops and mock interviews to enhance self-confidence and improve job-seeking
strategies. The placement cell aims at bringing corporate luminaries and student community together in intellectually stimulating and mutually beneficial interaction that forms the basis of a firm and lasting relationship. Entrepreneurship Development Division
This division works under training & placements cell. Main objective of this cell is to guide those students who have entrepreneurial inclinations. This division educates students on prerequisites to become a successful entrepreneur including financial implications and their management besides conducting Seminars, Demonstration, Workshop for development of students resulting in their employ-ability.

Industrial Visits
The essence of industrial visit is to impart practical knowledge of the current practices and modules adopted by modern day industries. These visits serve in multiple capacities by inspiring future technocrats and managers and by giving them first hand exposure. During the visit to different plants, our students learn the basic criteria for performance excellence category level requirements and gather information to make a baseline assessment of internal working environment of a company and how a company functions, as well as useful information related to the practical aspects of the educational course which cannot be visualized in lectures.
Summer Internships
During the break between the first and second year, the students undergo Summer Internship for a period of eight to ten weeks with the Institute’s corporate partners. The summer internships are excellent opportunities for students to gain first hand industry experience and to challenge, test and validate the classroom learning. During internship students are given projects that not only give them an opportunity to learn but also to contribute. The corporate offers challenging cross-functional operational projects that will expose the student to all the verticals of the company. These internships offer hands-on technical education and experience and valuable networking opportunities.
INCUBATION CENTRE
With a rich tradition of incubation through bodies such as the IIT Bombay, JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad has also pioneered innovation with groups such as the E-cell, PDP and Clubs as well.
JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad Incubation Center is the umbrella body for nurturing and overseeing innovation and entrepreneurship at JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad. With a rich tradition of incubation through bodies such as the IIT Bombay, JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad has also pioneered innovation with groups such as the E-cell, PDP and Clubs as well. JMS Institute of Technology -IC will leverage these experiences and give entrepreneurship a stronger push as well as serve to coordinate and promote innovation-driven activities at the institute.
JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad seeks to nurture technology and knowledge based ventures through their start-up phase by providing the necessary support to help entrepreneurs survive in the competitive market and reach a stage where they can scale-up their ventures further. The JMS Institute of Technology -IC aims to build and share resources including space and infrastructure, access to business support services, mentoring, training programmes to enhance the skills of entrepreneurs and seed funds. The scope of support is broad-based, and covers technologies/IP developed wholly at the Institute or partly through collaborations elsewhere, as well as external start-ups with which JMS Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad members are associated as consultants or mentors.
