    JMSIT, Ghaziabad, proudly hosted the 8th edition of its highly anticipated Inter-School and Inter-College Sports Fest, Samakhya 2025, with remarkable grandeur and enthusiasm. Held at the institution’s campus situated along National Highway-09, the two-day event witnessed spirited participation from students across various schools and colleges, showcasing exceptional talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

    A Grand Opening Ceremony

    The festivities commenced with an inspiring address by Dr. Himanshu Singhal, Secretary of JMSIT and Chief Guest for the event. In his inaugural speech, Dr. Singhal emphasized the vital role of sports in contemporary society. He highlighted that beyond fostering physical fitness, sports significantly contribute to building mutual harmony and camaraderie among people. He encouraged students to actively participate in sports alongside academics, underlining that participation itself is a greater achievement than winning or losing.

    A Wide Array of Sporting Events

    Samakhya 2025 featured a diverse range of competitions including Carrom, Chess, Kho-Kho, Shot Put, Table Tennis, Tug of War, and Volleyball. The fest was organized into two age categories:

    • Group A: 17 to 19 years
    • Group B: 20 to 22 years

    With nearly 600 students participating, the festival turned into a vibrant celebration of youthful energy, dedication, and competitive spirit.

      • 1st Place: Vineet (Vidya and Child School)
      • 2nd Place: Shubham (MNPS)
    • Group B:
      • 1st Place: Naman (JMSIT)
      • 2nd and 3rd Places: Devanshu Negi and Adarsh Singh (SDGI)

    Table Tennis

    • 1st Place: Amit Chauhan (MMH College)
    • 2nd Place: Vishal Tyagi (KIET College)
    • 3rd Place: Rehan Mustafa (JMSIT)

    Chess

    • 1st and 2nd Places: Sunny Kumar and Aditya Kumar Bhardwaj (JMSIT)
    • 3rd Place: Shalvil Singh (Maharshi Dayanand Vidyapeeth School)

    Shot Put

    • Group A:
      • 1st Place: Chirag Sharma (Swami Vivekanand School)
    • Group B:
      • 1st Place: Vishu Rathi (Shambhu Dayal College)
      • 2nd and 3rd Places: Surya Pratap Singh and Abhay Kaushik (JMSIT)

    Tug of War

    • Boys’ Category: JMSIT Team secured the 1st Place
    • Girls’ Category: Wadu Public School emerged victorious

    Volleyball

      • 1st Place: Sunderdeep World School
      • 2nd Place: Leelavati Public School
      • 3rd Place: Swami Vivekanand School

      • 1st Place: HLM College

    Kho-Kho

      • 1st Place: SVM Sikrod
